How do I join V?

A.

Schedule an appointment for a tour of the club or contact the club if you would like to join.

Q.

How much is a membership at V?

A.

Membership at V is £195 per month with a 12-month contract.

A no-contract membership is £250 per month.

All memberships are subject to a £200 joining fee.

How many classes are included with a membership?

A.

Yoga classes are included as part of your membership, alongside breathwork and percussion stretch therapy.


Specialist pilates classes are available via our Extended Membership.

How old do I have to be to join?

A.

Members must be over 18 years old.

Q.

Am I tied into a contract?

A.

A 12-month contract and no-contract options are available. Please discuss with a member of the team to decide on the right membership for you.

Do I get a gym membership card?

A.

No, club access is through the V member app, which is available to download on Apple and Android.

Q.

Can I change my membership package?

A.

If you are on a no-contract membership and wish to sign up for a contract and reduce your monthly fees then the club team can arrange that for you.

Can I freeze my membership?

A.

Yes, by contacting membership services, in some circumstances memberships can be frozen at no cost.

Can I unfreeze my membership?

Yes, by contacting membership services of which a member of the V team will happily support.

Can I leave my agreement early?

A.

If you are within your contract, you can request to leave early but this does incur a settlement charge.

How do I cancel my membership?

A.

Speak to the club team if you wish to cancel your membership.

What is the settlement fee?

A.

The difference between a no-contract monthly fee and a 12-month contract monthly fee. The total settlement applies to members wishing to cancel whilst in their contract period.

What is an extended membership?

A.

An extended membership allows members to access either 2 or 5 additional classes in a month.


Extended membership begins at £50 for an additional 2 classes per month, going up to £100 for an additional 5 classes.

Corporate Membership

How do corporate gym memberships work?

A.

Speak to the club team to find out what types of corporate memberships can be available for your company. The only difference to standard membership, is how these memberships are paid for and the cost of membership.

There are several options for corporate memberships, please speak to the club team for more details.

What is a corporate membership?

Corporate membership is a type of membership that is available to employees of companies that have an agreement in place with V Mayfair.

Are employees on a corporate membership tied into a contract?

Generally, there is no minimum contract period for the member joining on a corporate membership.

Can I add my corporate discount to my gym membership?

A.

If you are employed by a company that enjoys a corporate membership agreement with V Mayfair, then please speak to your HR manager or the club team if you would like to join or transfer an existing membership.

How do I qualify for a corporate gym membership?

Speak to the club team to find out if your employer has a corporate membership option, or if you would like more information about how to provide your employees with this benefit.

Does corporate gym membership include family members?

Family memberships can be added to some corporate membership options, speak to the club team for more details.

Classes

Are the classes for beginners?

A.

Yes, we offer a range of classes for all levels of experience.

Q.

How do I book classes?

A.

Classes can be booked through the V member app, which is available to download on Apple and Android, or through the club team.

Q.

Are the classes free?

A.

Our main studio classes are included within your membership. However, our specialist pilates classes are an additional cost paid per class or as part of a extended membership upgrade.

How do I cancel a class booking?

A.

Classes can be cancelled through the V member app, which is available to download on Apple and Android, or through the club team. Please ensure to cancel a class booking 24 hours before the class start time.

Do I need to bring my own equipment for the classes?

A.

No, all equipment for classes will be available at the club.

What classes are available with an extended membership?

A.

Members can access an extended membership that warrants access to either 2 or 5 additional classes held within the X studio.

Extended membership starts at £50 for an additional 2 classes per month or £100 for an additional 5 classes per month.

A variety of yoga classes are included as part of your membership, alongside breathwork and percussion stretch therapy.


Additional specialist pilates classes are available via our Extended Membership.

Do you offer PT sessions?

A.

Yes, the club team can introduce you to our team of Personal trainers. Their services are paid for separately to your membership fees.

Will I have to book to use the gym?

A.

No, only classes need to be booked in advance.

Q.

Do you provide towels?

A.

Yes, towels will be available for use at V.

Q.

Does the club have lockers?

A.

Yes, lockers will be available for use at V.

Payments

Q.

How do I pay?

A.

Members can pay monthly through direct debit, or upfront through credit or debit card.

Q.

When will my direct debit be taken?

A.

First payment will be taken within 10 days of joining, and every month on the day of the month that you joined thereafter.

Q.

How do I bring my payments or direct debit up to date?

A.

If you are having trouble with payments, please speak to the club team.

Q.

What happens if I miss a direct debit payment?

A.

We will reattempt to take the payment within a few days, if this payment is also unsuccessful then please speak to the club team to avoid club access being removed.

Q.

What happens if I cancel my Direct Debit payment?

A.

Memberships must be cancelled through the membership services team, membership contracts can not be cancelled by cancelling your direct debit.

Q.

Can I change my Direct Debit date?

A.

Yes, membership services can assist with changes to your monthly direct debit date.
